Printing More Professionally

When I first opened up the doors to my business, I didn't know how much advertising I should do. Instead of going after printed advertisement space and taking out radio spots, I decided to let my company speak for itself. I tried to encourage other people to spread the word, but for some reasons, I just couldn't get off of the ground. I started thinking about what might work, and I realized that printed advertisements might be the way to go. Unfortunately, my first flyers weren't super professional. I decided to work with a graphic design company, who helped me to print professionally. That's when things started taking off. Read my website for more helpful tips regarding successful advertising.

Three Electronic Extras To Offer For Easy Customer Copying

Blog

If you run a print service, a brick and mortar location is always a good thing. This way customers can drop off any copies that they need to be made and pick them up at their leisure. One of the best conveniences for all customers is being able to make self-copies. Sometimes customers need a few extra copies for an event that is happening within a few short hours. Other times, important documents have been destroyed or misplaced, and the customer needs to make copies as soon as possible. If you have return customers and you want to make it easy for them to make self-copies are three ways to make self-copying easy for customers by electronic means.

Assign each customer a log-in and password

There are times where customers or businesses will want to add money to their account in order to make copies. Many times, there can be money left over. If you want to make it easy for return customers to open up accounts with you, assign customers a log-in and password for their account. Allow every customer to open an account with a customer number and allow them to select their own code. This way the customer or business can load up money for their copies and come back to use it later, without needing any sort of documentation aside from their account number.

Order extras online

Via your company website, you can allow customers to order extras with their account number. For instance, if your customer needs a specific paper color or if they need resume paper, they can order this online before coming into your store. Set up the ability to order certain types of paper, different paper colors, and other material extras via the internet before coming to your shop. Along with their extra needs, request a date and time that your customer will be coming into the store to make the copies. This will allow you and your staff to ready the necessary paper and materials before your customer comes into the store.

Allow for add-ons via the copy machine

Sometimes customers will want to have a binder created for some of the copies. Other times, the copies will need to be folded and stapled to make programs. Allow customers to order this service when they log in for printing. This will alert your staff to set up the hole punch and binding machines immediately to accommodate your customers. If a customer needs extra help, there should be a button to press to send a member of your staff to the copy machine.
